Rihanna and Miley Cyrus both showed off their new short hair-styles at the 2012 MTV Video Music Award's last night (6th September).
Long gone were RiRi's lengthily wavy locks, with the Bajan babe instead debuting a short, sweet, jet-black pixie cut - teaming her look with ruby-red lips and a stunning floor-length white gown.
Miley - who previously posted a snap of her new shaved hair-do on Twitter, also dazzled on the red carpet, revealing her short and spiky style, making her a dead-ringer for singer and VMA performer, Pink.
The 19-year old completed her rock chick look with a sleek black dress, fierce earrings and heavy-black eye liner.
As well as unveiling her new look on the red carpet, Cyrus also told MTV News that she's working on her 'biggest album' before even thinking about her upcoming nuptials with beau, Liam Hemsworth.
Miley stated: "[First] this record — the biggest record I've ever had — then I'll do wedding planning."
